Steel Magnolia Moms empowers moms of children with special needs to take time out of their hectic schedules to focus on themselves. We share our knowledge and resources, but more importantly, we encourage moms to take a break, have fun, and connect.

Steel Magnolia Moms Offers Support in a Variety of Ways:

  • Chapter Events: Socials (dinners, wine tastings, cooking demonstrations) with special needs moms who “get it”
  • Speaker Series: Empowering workshops, lectures, and wellness classes
  • Programs: Head to Heart, Happy Camper(s), Magnolia Wellness, Moms Camp, Angels & Butterflies 
  • Private Facebook Page: Convenient daily connection with fellow members 

Social Membership

Steel Magnolia Moms wants to support you in as many meaningful ways as we can, so we happily fundraise, develop, and host with your health and happiness in mind. In return, we ask for members who wish to fully benefit from SMM to engage in our community as active participating members. Joining as a Social Member helps us grow together! Social Membership gives you full access to our Social Events and Programs. To inquire about joining as a Social Member, please contact us.

Convenient daily support and connection with fellow members happens on our private Facebook page. If you are a mother of children with special needs, please request to join our group!
