Run for a Reason

Raising a child with special needs is a marathon, not a sprint. And it can’t be done alone. Like running a race, you need people along the road to cheer you on. As a participating charity in the Chevron Houston Marathon’s Run for a Reason Program (RFAR), we have a team of walkers and runners fundraise as they train for a 5K, Half or Full Marathon. Funds raised help us continue to grow and support more moms while raising awareness for disabilities, thereby moving our community towards a more inclusive and compassionate society.
